Diaper Rash

Most often, diaper rash is considered a normal part of being a baby; however, as a parent, you can fight and eliminate those unwanted diaper rashes. It will be a lot easier on your child if you make your child's bum a place where rashes and bacteria do not want to be.

More often than not, the diaper rash is a skin irritation with a little bit of yeast or bacteria. One way to prevent and eliminate diaper rash is to ensure that your baby is never stuck sitting in a soiled or dirty diaper. When your baby's skin is exposed to the moisture for a prolonged period of time, it breaks down the skin and creates irritation. Diaper rashes can also be caused by diaper friction against your baby's skin. Diaper rash can also occur out an allergic reaction to the diaper, food, or laundry detergent.

So how can you treat diaper rash quickly and effectively?

The easiest and most efficient way is to change your baby's diaper often and to keep their skin dry.

Another way is to allow your child to go around naked. Allow your child's bum to get some air while you let them roam around the house, play, or sit in your lap. This will help dry out the moisture before a rash begins.

Most creams and ointments out there on the market are not good for your child. Babees Bum is the preferred method by parents who want to treat their baby's rash naturally without and harmful ingredients or additives.

Kelly's Health is proud to provide you with Babees Bum. We want to ensure that the products you use on your baby are all natural and healthy. This stuff really does work!

Treating Diaper Rash

Diaper rash is often considered a normal part of being a baby. But as a parent, you can fight diaper rash efficiently and amazingly. You have probably heard this before, but an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. It is a lot easier on your child if you prevent diaper rash by making the bum a place where that icky stuff does not want to be.

The majority of diaper rash is simply skin irritation with a touch of bacteria or yeast. One natural way of fighting diaper rash is to ensure that your baby or infant is never left sitting in a soiled or wet diaper. Prolonged moisture against the skin will break down the skin causing a nasty diaper rash. However, a diaper rash can also be caused by diaper friction against the skin. Allergic reaction can also cause diaper rash which means keeping an eye on foods, detergents, and soaps used on the infant or baby.

So how can you treat diaper rash efficiently, quickly, and safely?

The number one rule is keep ‘em dry! This means changing often…

One natural way of fighting diaper rash is to allow your child to go naked. Nothing is as cute as a baby’s bum. Let that baby’s bum run around the house, crawl around the house, or simply place the infant bum up on your knees. The air will actually help dry out the bottom helping fight diaper rash before it happens.

There are many creams, ointments, and old wives tales associated with preventing diaper rash. Zinc oxide is the most popular choice of ingredients when it comes to these creams and ointments. Did you know that zinc oxide may contain lead? Ick! This is definitely a case of the cure being worse than the illness…

For me, I prefer Babees Bum. This is an all natural ointment found at Kelly’s Health. Exceptionally perfect for preventing and treating diaper rash.
