Healthy Exercises with Infants
Starting healthy habits are best to start when young. More people than ever are choosing to live a healthy life and stimulate the sense before birth. There are many different healthy infant exercises that can help increase learning, imagination, and muscle development. Make sure you always surprise your children while exercising or playing to ensure their safety.
Here are a few healthy exercises Kelly's Health wants you to consider...
You will want to begin with a mat. Making a small mat is actually very easy. It needs to be divided into six different, but equal sections. You can think of your mat like a quilt. Each section of your mat should be a different texture so that your infant has numerous textures to explore. Mats can easily be washed, which makes taking care of your mat very simple and easy.
Next, add a pillow roll. You can make pillows specifically for your infants, but a pillow roll works perfectly. A roll pillow enables your child to have plenty of room and plenty of tummy time. This exercise helps children build arm strength and muscles and allows them to learn to support their own body weight which is important. Add a pillow cover to your pillow roll to ensure that it stays clean.
Add in a ball. If you know what a beach ball is, you will easily understand this exercise. You can use a beach ball for this exercise, but ensure that the ball's material is thick and sturdy to avoid popping and injury. Help your infant lay on the ball. When they begin to build strength they can move the ball around; however, you must supervise this exercise. A great tip is to disinfect the ball as well and add in padding between the ball and the floor.
Healthy infant exercises are fun for both the parent and the child.
