Eat enough calories!
-You more than likely have heard that eating too many calories is bad. However, not that many people know that not eating enough calories is just as bad. When your body lacks the calories that it needs, your body and organs cannot properly function. You should eat the recommended number of calories recommended by your physician based on you and your lifestyle.
Watch the portions!
-Most people forget how important moderation is when it comes to food. People can eat just about anything that they wish, including three slices of chocolate cake. That is not portion control. Eating everything in moderation is the way to a healthier diet and life.
Eat plenty of vegetables, fruits, grains, and legumes!
-These foods are considered complex carbohydrates, which mean your body receives a better response from ingesting these complex foods; they are low in fat, usually cholesterol free, and contain lots of fiber.
Eliminate soda!
-Did you know that if you drink a 12oz soda a day you will gain 16 pounds? That does not even include what it does to your organs. Many types of soda can be used as a cleaner or clog remover. Instead of soda, drink water or flavored water. Your body will certainly thank you.
